Repair & Refund Policy
Sole Service exercises great care in processing articles entrusted to us; we use the processes that, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article. We cannot assume responsibility for the inherent weakness of, or defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing. This applies particularly, but not exclusively, to suede, nubuck and leather. Stain removal may cause damage and complete removal of stains is not guaranteed.
We employ the most skilled item repair professionals and provide unparalleled customer service. All efforts will be made to ensure that your repair requests are completed perfectly. Sole Service will not be responsible for any of the following processes:
- Heavily soiled linings that are difficult to clean satisfactorily;
- Insect bites and scars, which were covered over, that may be revealed during some processes;
- Holes or tears due to fabric degradation;
- Tarnished metal work effected by some processes; and
- Heavily stained handles or those affected by grease that are difficult to clean satisfactorily.
We cannot be held responsible for loss of buttons, ornaments or anything left in pockets or in any part of the article.
We reserve the right to refuse services to any customer or reject any article or repair request.
THE SERVICES PROVIDED ON OR THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. Shipping and repairs are all subject to our Site Terms and Conditions and the applicable FAQs. Privacy of your information is as set forth in our Privacy Notice. Please ensure your articles upon shipping them to us. We cannot assume responsibility for risk of loss or damage while in transit.
We reserve the right to amend the Repair Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Please check them prior to submitting each repair request.
We may need to contact you regarding your order. If you are unavailable by phone or email, we reserve the right to make repair-based decisions based on convenience, reasonableness, or at the discretion of any individual involved with your order.
Please let us know everything you would like repaired. Our experts will evaluate your item(s) for any additional services necessary, however, due to the unique needs of our customers, we cannot guarantee unspecified repairs will be made.
It is not always possible to return an item to original factory condition. Certain hardware and materials are proprietary to the original brand and are not available for use in our repairs. However, it is always our goal to return items in their best possible condition. This may mean substituting hardware and materials of a similar aesthetic and quality.
Except to the extent of the warranty provided in this document and warranties expressed or implied by law, all warranties and representations in respect of goods sold or services supplied are excluded.
We will remedy any of our suppliers workmanship which may be defective on goods that are returned to us within 3 months of the initial repair. If in our judgment the item is incapable of repair, we will return it to you and refund the amount you paid us for the repair only. We are not liable for the cost of replacement. We will arrange any remedial work as quickly as possible but we do not accept liability for the item being unavailable for your use during any period of time.
You must pay the freight charge on any item you return to us for remedial work but we will pay the freight charge to return it to you.
Limitation of Liability
Unless expressly agreed in these terms and conditions neither the owner of this website nor its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, successors or assignees will be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of, or in any way related to, the use of this website and any third party websites linked to this website. This limitation applies to direct, indirect, consequential, special, and punitive or other damages you or others may suffer, as well as damages for loss of profits, business interruption or the loss of data or information.
